Description
In this fast-paced and varied Senior Finance Manager role, the successful candidate will be expected to:
*Take ownership of group-wide statutory reporting, external audit delivery, and key tax and treasury activities.
*Shape and strengthen financial controls by designing and embedding improved policies, processes, and frameworks across the finance teams.
*Streamline month-end procedures to produce faster, more accurate financial information and enhance overall reporting quality.
*Lead, mentor, and grow a small finance team, ensuring robust performance and capability development.
*Produce clear, timely financial results for both individual entities and the consolidated group, supporting investor and stakeholder requirements.
*Manage the audit cycle from planning through completion, ensuring high-quality statutory accounts and strong audit readiness.
*Champion efficient cash management and ensure full compliance with tax obligations and financial regulation.
*Contribute to key change initiatives, including system enhancements, accounting updates, and other finance transformation projects.
Profile
We’re looking for:
*Professionally qualified accountant with post-qualification industry experience, preferably ACA or equivalent.
*Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a small finance team to deliver high-quality results.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships across multiple business areas.
*Adaptable and confident in managing change, ambiguity, and process improvement initiatives.
