Job Description:
Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Dartford
4 on 4 off – with call out + OT available
Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a dynamic and rewarding opportunity? We’re seeking a skilled professional to join our clients team and play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
*Carry out Planned Maintenance inspections safely and effectively, following site maintenance schedules
*Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work, ensuring tools, parts, and materials are ready to minimise downtime
*Modify and improve plant equipment to maximise availability and performance while meeting production demands
*Complete dynamic risk assessments to uphold safe working practices and reduce risk
*Maintain accurate shift paperwork, stock control, condition reports, and documentation in line with maintenance strategy
*Assess malfunctioning equipment and provide technical advice to support management decisions
*Contribute to engineering projects, including new installations and refurbishments
What We’re Looking For
*NVQ Level 3 in Electro-technical Installations or equivalent, or City & Guilds 2357-3 (Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnology)
*Experience in a processing, manufacturing or similar environment
*Knowledge of CMMS systems and their functionality
*Strong understanding of proactive maintenance strategies and condition monitoring
Salary: £52,900 per annum (depending on experience)
Full-time role, 4-on 4-off day shift pattern (with occasional night call-outs)
