Claims Handler (Insurance)
Location: Bolton
Salary: £28-32k
An independent insurance broker is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their team. You will manage a variety of claims across commercial and personal lines, including liability, property and motor.
Responsibilities:
* Assess and process claims, investigating and gathering evidence as needed
* Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties
* Negotiate settlements and ensure timely claim resolution
* Maintain accurate records and adhere to FCA regulations
* Deliver excellent customer service
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in insurance claims (commercial lines preferred)
* Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
* Attention to detail and good time management
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
