Role: Senior Finance Assistant
Sector: Creative Agency
Location: Central London
Contract: Full Time/Hybrid
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Ref: VFR 3240
VisionFR is seeking a Senior Finance Assistant to join a global creative technology agency in central London. They pride themselves on their storytelling and design intelligence. The Senior Finance Assistant will be detail-oriented, proactive and comfortable with numbers.
The responsibilities of the Senior Finance Assistant
Accounts Receivable:
*Monitor expected invoicing schedules and raise and issue all sales invoices
*Manage customer balances/credit control with support from the FC
*Produce weekly debtor reporting for the CFO
*Set up new clients and manage client account queries
Accounts Payable:
*Process all purchase invoices
*Process weekly payment runs
*Set up new suppliers
*Manage supplier account queries
Accounting:
*Calculate & post journals and maintain supporting schedules for prepayments, fixed assets, accruals, leases and other balance sheet items at month end
*Updating monthly balance sheet reconciliations
*Daily cash posting and bank reconciliation
*General ledger management
*Support year-end accounting and audit process
Miscellaneous:
*Process staff expenses
*Credit card reconciliations for multiple card holders
*Assisting FC and Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks
*Ad hoc statutory reporting
Required Skills/ Experience of a Senior Finance Assistant
*1-2 years’ experience working in a similar role
*Paprika
*Strong attention to detail
*Able to work to deadlines and on own initiative
