Job Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with experience in high volume Accounts Payable work and having at least one direct report.
We are currently recruiting for a fabulous employer in Wolverhampton, they are nationally recognised and have a great reputation! Our client is looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to be based in their Accounts Payable team and will have one direct report. We are looking for a confident and friendly candidate that has vast experience and knowledge of high volume and fast paced Accounts Payable. Experience managing and supporting other members of staff would be ideal, with this role having a direct report. This is a brilliant role and is well suited to a candidate that is keen to learn and further their career!
Responsibilities Will Include:
*Complete Accounts Payable duties including high volume invoice processing and statement reconciliation.
*Be involved with process improvement, the business is always listening to feedback and looking to improve!
*Work with the wider business to reduce aged debt and improve payment timeliness.
*Conduct daily reviews on volumes and targets, monitor team activities to ensure alignment with targets and processes.
Ideally, You Will:
*Must have experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume Accounts Payable department.
*Strong communication skills, confident in interacting with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
*Must be a confident user of Microsoft Excel, as this will be used daily.
*Be a bright and friendly individual that wants to get involved with the team!
