Internal Account Manager
Chesterfield – Office Based
£28,000 - £30,000 + Commission (Up to £30,000)
Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading distribution business in Chesterfield who are looking for an Internal Account Manager to join their defence and rail team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional to develop their career, working with existing customers to drive sales and deliver exceptional service.
The Role:
*Handle orders via email and phone, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment.
*Upsell and suggest related products to increase revenue.
*Process and load customer orders accurately and on time
*Hit KPIs for delivery times and overall service levels
*Work with external sales teams on updates and client needs
*Attend occasional face-to-face client visits with the sales team
*Handle quality concerns and resolve issues quickly
*Manage purchasing needs and work with vendors on lead times and pricing
*Liaise with the warehouse on stock, dispatch, and any order problems
*Raise invoices and work closely with the finance team to keep accounts tidy
*Keep systems up to date and support general operations where needed
Experience & Skills:
*2 years’ experience in sales, account management, or sales administration.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
*Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
*Confident when speaking with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
*Helpful and supportive with a can-do approach
*Reliable with strong follow-through and consistent delivery
*Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
The Package:
*25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
*Ability to earn up to £30,000 in commission
*Early finish on a Friday
