Job Description:
Are you an experienced EHS professional ready to take the lead in shaping a culture of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence?
Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for a dynamic Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join a global, plastics manufacturing business in Castleford. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll have the autonomy to make a real impact - developing best-in-class EHS programmes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance across all areas of their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
*Lead site audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring proactive identification of hazards and non-conformances.
*Drive incident investigations to true root cause and develop corrective and preventive actions.
*Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, identifying trends and leading improvement initiatives.
*Deliver engaging EHS training and awareness programmes across all levels of the organisation.
*Support the integration of EHS considerations into operational and strategic projects.
