Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: * Teach functional skills in English, Maths, and ICT to learners across various levels, from Entry Level to Level 2.
* Prepare and deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
* Assess learners’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
* Develop and adapt lesson plans and learning materials to meet the needs of individual learners.
* Provide one-on-one support and create a supportive learning environment.
* Track and monitor learner attendance and progress, ensuring targets are met.
Key Requirements: * Experience in teaching functional skills, GCSE, or adult education (desirable).
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, or QTS) (desirable).
* Strong knowledge of functional skills curricula (English, Maths, and ICT).
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
* Ability to work flexibly and independently.
* Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
