About the Role:
We are seeking an organised, confident, and reliable Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Dunstable. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are looking to gain classroom experience, perfect for aspiring teachers, graduates, teaching assistants ready for a step up, or anyone with strong behaviour-management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising classes during teacher absences
* Delivering pre-set work to students and ensuring tasks are completed
* Maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment
* Managing behaviour in line with school policies
* Supporting the wider school team as required
About You:
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage and motivate students
* Able to manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Professional, reliable, and adaptable
* Experience working with young people (school-based or other settings)
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
