About the Role
As a Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the workshop. Your role will include assigning tasks, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing training and guidance to engineers, apprentices, and work experience candidates. You’ll play a key part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and learners at all levels.
*Oversee repairs of electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
*Plan workflow to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
*Ensure cost-effective use of labour and materials.
*Maintain workshop standards, discipline, and health & safety compliance.
*Support and guide employees, setting high standards for performance and conduct.
*Be available for call-outs, shifts, or overtime as required.
*Carry out additional duties as directed by management.

*Previous supervisory experience in electrical motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
*Basic computer skills.
*Strong knowledge of safety protocols and PPE.
*Excellent communication and leadership skills.
