SEN Teacher - Special Needs School
Location: Camberwell

Your Role
As the lead teacher, you will:
*Create Impactful Learning Experiences: Design and deliver tailored lesson plans that address individual learning needs and styles.
*Support Diverse Needs: Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment for students with varying special needs.
*Monitor Progress: Regularly assess and adapt teaching strategies to ensure every student achieves their goals.
*Develop IEPs: Collaborate on Individual Education Plans, ensuring goals are realistic and met effectively.
*Encourage Positive Behaviour: Implement supportive strategies to manage and address behavioural challenges.
*Engage Families: Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed and involved.
*Collaborate Holistically: Work with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to deliver well-rounded support.
Essential Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*A strong interest or experience in special needs education.
Key Skills:
*Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
*Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
*Creativity and adaptability in delivering personalised learning experiences.
Desirable Expertise:
*Previous experience in special needs education.
*Familiarity with Autism, SEMH, and complex needs.
*Knowledge of alternative communication methods and adaptive teaching tools.
