As an Accounting Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting key business operations. You’ll gain exposure to balance sheet reconciliations, equipment transactions, and operating expenses while working with advanced systems like SAP and DBS.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
*Preparing monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for review
*Producing monthly reporting information, analysis, and ad-hoc reports
*Inputting journals and reviewing monthly operating/profitability reports
*Performing DBS transaction register adjustments
*Supporting non-finance teams with accurate information and resolving queries
*Providing ad-hoc support and covering for other team members when required
We’re looking for someone with:
*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
*Attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data
*Adaptability, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
*Knowledge of SAP and DBS (beneficial)
*AAT qualification or currently studying ACCA/CIMA (intermediate level)
*Recent graduate or experience in a finance department
