Financial Controller | Thirsk | Up to £60,000 + Bonus

Up to £60,000 salary, annual bonus, and 2 days a week working from home. More importantly, this is a genuine opportunity to step into your first Financial Controller role with an experienced FD by your side.
You’ll be joining a fast-paced, ambitious business that’s growing and hungry for more. They’ve already doubled revenue in recent years and aren’t slowing down. That means more complexity, more commercial decisions, and more for you to get your teeth into.
As Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of the month-end process, lead a small but capable finance team, and get stuck into budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management. You’ll also support the FD on strategic projects and process improvements as the business continues to scale.
The FD is hands-on, commercially sharp and invested in developing their team. You’ll get guidance, not micromanagement. If you’re looking for a role that stretches you without throwing you in the deep end, this is it.
You’ll need experience in a management or financial accounting role, ideally in a fast-moving environment. Line management isn’t essential, but you’ll need the confidence to lead and bring people with you. A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) would be great, but we’re open to QBE candidates too.
