Learning Support Female Carer

*Working Hours: Tuesday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Female Carer to join our team at a Further Education College in North London. This role is crucial for providing tailored support and assistance to students with specific needs, ensuring their comfort and safety during the college day.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist students with personal care needs, specifically hoisting and other mobility support.
*Work closely with educational staff to ensure that students’ learning experiences are accessible and effective.
*Monitor and support the physical and emotional well-being of students during college hours.
*Adapt communication and support techniques to meet the individual needs of students.
*Maintain confidentiality and dignity of the students at all times while providing personal care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in a similar role, with specific skills in hoisting and personal care.
*Understanding and experience of working within an educational environment preferred.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*A compassionate and patient approach.
*Must be female due to the personal care nature of the role.
