Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of our leading Manufacturing clients in the Barnsley area

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Manufacturing Barnsley | £49,461 | Panama Shifts (Days & Nights)
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer: * Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across factory machinery

* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly to reduce downtime

* Support development and delivery of Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules

* Work on continuous improvement projects to optimise plant performance

* Fault-find on PLC-controlled equipment (any programming knowledge is a bonus)

* Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise disruption

What We’re Looking For: * Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)

* Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role

* Basic mechanical knowledge (multi-skilled ideal)

* Comfortable working on a Panama shift pattern

* Strong problem-solving and communication skills

* Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
