Area Sales Manager - North & Scotland
Field Based
Circa £40,000 plus company car and 40% bonus
Are you a driven and passionate sales professional with a knack for building strong relationships? Elevation Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading manufacturer who are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team, covering Newcastle up to mid Scotland.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting and developing sales of products across a diverse range of retail sectors.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Driving profitable sales growth and increasing brand awareness.
*Building and maintaining relationships with independent convenience retailers, petrol forecourts, builders’ merchants & DIY centres, garden centres, wholesalers, coal merchants, and more.
*You will have a small account base, but there will be a strong emphasis on acquiring new accounts, so a hunter mentality is crucial to make this role a success!
*Manage your territory as if you’re running your own business.
*Extensive travel throughout your territory with occasional visits to Head Office in Yorkshire.
Skills & Experience:
*A proven track record of sales success within a similar territory.
*You will be self-motivated and be used to managing your own diary, ensuring excellent time management skills
*Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication and influencing skills.
*A persistent and tenacious attitude with the drive to develop both existing customers and seek out new business opportunities.
*An organised and structured approach to work with good IT literacy.
*To be considered for this role, you must hold a full UK driving license
