Description
*Manage end to end procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation and purchasing goods and services.
*Utilise ERP systems such as SYSPRO to process purchase orders and track transactions
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms and ensure reliable supply chains.
*Analyse market trends and supplier performance to optimise procurement strategies.
*Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and manage inventory levels efficiently.
*Conduct cost analysis and negotiate prices to achieve budget targets without compromising quality.
Profile
A successful Buyer Purchaser should have:
*Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles within the manufacturing or retail environment.
*Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as SYSPRO or others.
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritise effectively
*Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
*Knowledge of logistics, supply chain processes and inventory management.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
