Description
This isn’t just about crunching numbers-it’s about being a key player in European finance operations. You’ll have ownership, variety, and the chance to influence outcomes. Here’s what a typical week could include:
*Cash Management & Forecasting: Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and manage daily cash positions to keep operations running smoothly.
*Financial Reporting: Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, plus statutory reports under Austrian GAAP (UGB).
*Regulatory Compliance: Handle mandatory filings such as sales tax returns, ZM, and excise tax reports-ensuring deadlines are met.
*Audit & Governance: Act as the point person during internal and external audits, working closely with auditors for timely submissions.
*Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with local authorities, banks, and internal teams to resolve queries and maintain compliance.
*Process Improvement: Support automation projects and system enhancements to make finance processes smarter and more efficient.
*Inventory & Analysis: Assist with stock counts, inventory provisioning, and balance sheet reconciliations to keep financial data accurate.

Profile
We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant with strong accounting skills and a genuine people focus. You’ll be confident with SAP and Excel, detail-oriented, and proactive under tight deadlines. Ideally, you have:
*A degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA preferred)
*3+ years’ experience in accounting, ideally in manufacturing
*Fluency in German (highly desirable)
*Strong interpersonal skills-you’re as comfortable with numbers as you are with people
