Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive Import & Export Customer Service Clerk to join a busy logistics team. This role is perfect for someone with strong customer service experience within freight forwarding, and confidence handling time-critical shipments.
Key Responsibilities*Providing customer service support for import and export shipments
*Managing time-critical bookings and ensuring smooth movement of freight
*Communicating with customers, carriers and internal teams
*Monitoring shipments and resolving any issues quickly
*Handling queries, updates, and documentation requirements
Requirements*Experience in import/export customer service (freight forwarding essential)
*Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
*Good attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident using IT systems
*Ability to prioritise time-sensitive tasks
Monday to Friday pm
