Meraki Talent are assisting a Glasgow based client who are looking to appoint a Compliance professional to join a newly established team.

This role sits within the second line of defence and focuses on delivering high-quality testing, thematic reviews, and control assessments across European business lines.

Key Responsibilities *Plan and deliver independent testing and thematic reviews.
*Assess and challenge first line control frameworks.
*Maintain clear audit trails and produce concise, high-quality reports.
*Track remediation actions and review evidence for closure.
*Share findings with stakeholders and support management information reporting.
*Contribute to improving testing methodologies and the annual testing plan.
About You *Experience in Compliance within financial services, including control testing or thematic reviews.
*Good understanding of UK regulatory requirements.
*Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
*Knowledge of global markets, banking or securities services is an advantage.
*Confident working independently and supporting junior team members.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with compliance systems.
