SEMH Teacher
Salary: £32,916 – £49,885
Location: Bentley, Hampshire
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join our specialist team supporting boys aged 11–17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), alongside other SEND such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need a teacher that goes beyond the curriculum—someone who can build strong, nurturing relationships and inspire learning through creativity and care.
What You’ll Do
*Teach English and/or Maths up to GCSE level
*Deliver engaging, relevant lessons tailored to individual needs
*Support students with complex behaviours using a trauma-informed approach
*Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular activities
*Work collaboratively with education and therapy professionals, parents/carers, and local authorities
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching students with SEMH and SEND needs
*Ability to manage challenging behaviours with empathy and consistency
*High aspirations for every child’s success
