Audit Senior
*Annual Salary: £45k - £55k
*Location: Horsham
*Job Type: Full-time
Reed Crawley is working with a well-established accountancy practice who are looking for an Audit Senior to join their growing team. You will play a pivotal role in audit engagements across a diverse range of industries, this position is perfect for someone with a strong background in consolidations and group reporting, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector. If you thrive in a client-facing role and are keen to influence audit quality and processes within a supportive environment, this role is for you.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Conduct audit planning, fieldwork, and completion for a portfolio of clients, focusing on larger and more technically demanding assignments.
*Take a lead role in the audit of a major pharmaceutical client with multiple subsidiaries, managing consolidated financial statements, and adhering to tight reporting deadlines.
*Prepare and review financial statements under UK GAAP (FRS 102).
*Identify audit risks, propose solutions, and communicate issues clearly to both clients and colleagues.
*Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
*Assist in technical research, practice development, and process improvements as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*ACA/ACCA qualification is ideal, though outstanding candidates without qualification may also be considered.
*Extensive experience in managing full audit processes,
*Experience with group structures and consolidated financial statements (desirable)
*Thorough understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and relevant auditing standards.
*Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
*Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
*Proactive and problem-solving approach with meticulous attention to detail.
