SEND Teacher – Temp to Perm (Starting January) - paid to scale (fringe)
Slough, Berkshire.
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join an amazing school on a temporary to permanent basis starting in January. This will be paid to scale MPS/UPS - Fringe
About the Role:
*Deliver high-quality teaching to pupils with a range of SEND needs, including Autism, SLD, and complex learning difficulties.
*Plan and implement differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
*Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
*Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for learners.
*Maintain accurate records and contribute to EHCP reviews.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience working with SEND learners, ideally in a specialist or inclusive setting.
*Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and communication approaches (e.g., Makaton, PECS).
*Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
