Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group’s Skilled Shop Floor Team is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Ilkley. We are currently supporting the business in their search for a Press Brake Setter & Operator.
Working Hours & Pay *Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:15 pm
*Hourly Rate: £15.29 basic
*Salary: £29,417.96 + £2,941.79 shift allowance = £32,359.75
*Overtime: 1.5x basic rate
Key Responsibilities *Set up and operate the brake press machine with precision.
*Produce quality products, consistently meeting and exceeding quality standards.
*Read and work with engineering drawings to ensure precise results.
*Knowledge of Bystronic presses
*Perform bench fitting and fabrication duties as required.
*Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
Requirements *Apprentice-trained or time-served in a similar role.
*Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with precision.
*Skilled in using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
*Experience in bench fitting and fabrication (advantageous).
