About the Position:
Join our client as a Project Administrator and play a crucial role in our mission to ensure every resident sleeps safely at night. In this dynamic position, you will tackle exciting challenges in project administration, collaborating with engineers and clients to deliver exceptional service while enjoying ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Start Date: Flexible
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - minimum 3 days per week in the office.
What You’ll Do:
*Lead project administration efforts by liaising with engineers, scheduling visits, and preparing essential paperwork, including health and safety documentation.
*Raise quotations for small works and variations as your knowledge develops, contributing to project success.
*Create and manage new client entries in our management system, ensuring accurate site locations, contacts, and contract details.
*Optimize project workflows by scheduling contractors, ordering parts, and following up on deliveries while supporting project managers with various tasks.
*Engage in innovative projects that enhance our service delivery and contribute to the overall success of the Chesterfield Delivery team.
What You Bring:
*Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong communication, calculation, and literacy skills.
*Excellent time management abilities, with a track record of managing workloads effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines.
*A willingness to learn and a commitment to acting with integrity while being a collaborative team player.
*Confidence in making outgoing phone calls to suppliers and clients, fostering strong relationships.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
*Experience in project administration or a related field, particularly within the fire safety or engineering sectors.
*Familiarity with project management software or tools that enhance workflow efficiency.
*Demonstrated leadership qualities or mentoring experience that can contribute to team development.
Experience Required:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in project administration or a similar role.
Education:
*No minimum level of education required.
