The role & Responsibilities
Knowledge of physical education, and impact on child development
*Understanding of how the human body works
*Knowledge of the National Curriculum
*Ability to develop positive relationships with a range of people
*Ability to work in a team, as well as use your own initiative
*Enthusiasm for your subject to inspire and motivate students to take part in sport - not everyone is as keen as you are!
*Ability to prepare students for exams
*Excellent communication skills
*Good organisational and time-management skills
*Class management and ability to deal with challenging behaviour
*Patience and humour

REQUIREMENTS

- Hold a relevant degree and a qualification with, or leading to, UK Qualified Teacher Status (NQTs
and overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply)
- Be passionate about teaching and your subject
- Have excellent communication skills
- Possess the motivation to achieve and add value to a school
- Have proven classroom management skills
- Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process
