Drama Teacher – Part-Time (January to April)
Are you a creative and passionate Drama Teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a vibrant secondary school in the Reading area for a part-time role starting in January.
What’s on Offer:
*Start Date: January
*Contract: Temporary until April
*Days: 3 days per week
*Pay: To scale (MPS/UPS)
*Location: Reading area
About the Role:
As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver inspiring and engaging lessons that spark creativity and confidence in students. You’ll work with a supportive team and have access to excellent facilities to bring your ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4.
*Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity.
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
*Support extracurricular activities and school productions where possible.
*Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the curriculum.
What We’re Looking For:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Drama and the performing arts.
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
