Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Finance Assistant to manage and oversee the smooth running of payroll and associated operational processes. This is a key role within our business, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all payroll activities.
What you’ll be doing
*Assisting with the end-to-end payroll process, including processing placements, timesheets, and expenses
*Ensuring compliance requirements are met and maintaining accurate records
*Overseeing invoicing, credit control, and contractor payments
*Supporting ledger management and reconciliations
*Acting as the go-to person for payroll and operational queries within a fast-paced recruitment environment
About you
*Highly organised and thrive in a busy environment
*Strong communicator with excellent customer care skills
*Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work
*Comfortable multitasking and improving processes
*Quick to learn new systems and tools
*Experience in recruitment or payroll is ideal but not essential
*Familiarity with accounting packages (e.g., Xero) is beneficial, but training will be provided
