Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) systems. This role requires a strong technical background and a thorough understanding of relevant British Standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Install, commission, service, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards.
*Carry out routine maintenance and fault-finding on emergency lighting and AOV systems.
*Ensure compliance with BS standards and company procedures at all times.
*Provide technical support and advice to clients and colleagues.
*Complete all necessary documentation and reports accurately.
*Work independently or as part of a team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Essential Requirements
*Proven experience in installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
*Experience with emergency lighting and AOV systems.
*Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
*Full UK driving license.
Desirable Skills
*Experience with CCTV and security systems.
*Strong knowledge of British Standards (BS 5839, BS 5266, etc.).
*Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., FIA training, electrical certifications).
*Good communication and customer service skills.
