Transport Planning Supervisor – Mirfield - £35,000 - £40,000
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a UK leading manufacturer in Mirfield who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Planning Supervisor to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys improving transport performance, working with data and keeping deliveries running smoothly.
Hours of work / Benefits
*7:30am – 4pm (Monday to Friday)
*25 days holiday + Bank + the option to buy/sell holidays
*Death in service (2 x salary)

The Role
As the Transport Planning Supervisor, you will take responsibility for day to day planning, coordination and delivery performance across the fleet. Key tasks include:
*Developing and improving daily and weekly delivery plans
*Allocating vehicles and resources to achieve maximum utilisation
*Planning multi drop routes and maintaining efficient transit times
*Working closely with warehouse and distribution teams to support order fulfilment
*Identifying issues, preventing disruption and resolving transport bottlenecks
*Monitoring costs and helping reduce spend without affecting service
*Maintaining compliance with transport regulations and internal policies
*Using transport systems, route planning tools and data reporting dashboards
*Tracking live deliveries and sharing updates with stakeholders
The Person
*Previous experience within a transport planning role
*Confident use of transport management systems and route planning tools
*Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
*Clear communication and effective negotiation skills
*Awareness of transport rules and compliance expectations
