Job Description:
Teaching Assistant

Join a leading provider of specialist education and behavioural health services for children. We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our mission in providing exceptional care and education to children with high severity needs and challenging behaviours.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the delivery of educational programs and activities designed to meet the unique needs of our students.
*Support the lead teacher in preparing lesson materials and classroom setups.
*Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
*Work closely with other educational staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
*Assist students with special needs in their daily activities and learning tasks.
*Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in special education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a special education setting.
*Understanding of the challenges faced by children with behavioural and complex care needs.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable children.
*Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs (SEN) are advantageous.
