Container Logistics Coordinator / Planner

Key Responsibilities:
*Strategically plan and assign container routes to ensure punctual deliveries.
*Communicate effectively with drivers, adjusting plans as needed to respond to real-time challenges.
*Optimise container loads for efficiency and cost savings.
*Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal teams.
*Monitor transport operations, troubleshoot delays, and ensure adherence to schedules.
*Maintain compliance with all transport regulations and safety protocols.
*Accurately record and maintain transport data.
*Provide timely shipment updates and respond to customer inquiries.
Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven background in logistics or traffic management within the container sector.
*Strong knowledge of UK transport infrastructure and regulations.
*Skilled in using TMS, especially TOPS, and proficient with MS Office.
*Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
*Strong communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
*Willingness to work extra hours to meet critical deadlines and manage stress effectively.
