Role Responsibilities:
*Support Educational Goals: Assist in the planning and execution of lessons specifically designed to meet the unique educational needs of our students.
*Classroom Management: Aid in managing classroom dynamics, ensuring a nurturing and safe learning environment for all students.
*Individual Student Support: Provide tailored support to individual students, focusing on enhancing their academic skills and social development.
*Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with teachers and other educational professionals to implement comprehensive Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
*Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to remain at the forefront of best practices in special education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Relevant Experience: Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within an SEN setting.
*Educational Insight: A robust understanding of the educational requirements and challenges faced by students with special needs.
*Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
*Personal Qualities: High levels of patience, resilience, and empathy, with a strong commitment to fostering a positive educational environment.
*Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are highly desirable.
