Job Description:
Our client, a Greater Manchester council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their LD Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Carry out person-centred assessments to identify needs and plan support.
*Take on safeguarding responsibilities to protect vulnerable individuals.
*Work closely with other professionals to ensure joined-up support.
*Apply knowledge of key legal frameworks including:
*Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
*Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
*Court of Protection (CoP)
*Complete paperwork for DoLS, CoP, and court statements.
*Work independently, managing your own caseload.
*Undertake MCA assessments across a range of situations.
*Be ready to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
