Job Description:
Auto Electrician
Location: Dorking
Hours: 39 hours per week
7:30am – 4pm Monday to Thursday / 7:30am – 3pm Friday
Salary: Up to £33,100 per annum, depending on experience
Our client is looking for a driven and experienced Auto Electrician/Assembly Fitter who has experience with electrical assemblies. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your knowledge and access excellent long term career prospects.
Auto Electrician/Assembly Fitter duties will include but not limited to:
*Diagnose electrical faults using electronic diagnostic equipment and carry out repairs or modifications to vehicle wiring harnesses.
*Install and wire electrical components, systems, and wiring looms on modern specialist vehicles.
*Identify and resolve non-routine electrical defects through workshop inspection and road testing.
*Perform fault-finding and diagnostic work on all Bucher Municipal vehicle variants.
*Fit interior electrical systems, including GPS units, camera systems, and related equipment.
*Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with manufacturer, retailer, and industry guidelines.
*Complete required documentation accurately and maintain clear service records.
*Follow company processes to maximise productivity and uphold high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
*Carry out additional duties as reasonably required by the company.
Person Specification:
*Must be able to communicate effectively.
*A motivated and professional individual.
*Able to absorb knowledge effectively.
*Able to work with minimal supervision.
*An understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical circuits is desirable.
