Are you an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role?
Our partner Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South Manchester is seeking a confident, resilient and empathetic practitioner to join their dedicated team this January.
?? The Role * Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

* Working 1:1 and in small groups to help children re-engage with learning

* Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour using restorative approaches

* Working alongside teachers, pastoral staff and external agencies

* Helping to create a safe, nurturing and consistent learning environment

? About You * Previous SEMH / PRU / behaviour support experience essential

* Calm, patient and able to build positive relationships

* Confident using behaviour management strategies

* Able to work collaboratively as part of a specialist team

* Committed to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people
