Quantity Surveyor – Construction Fit Out
Location: Office-based in Essex with travel to sites across Central London
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + attractive package

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of all commercial aspects of projects, providing leadership and guidance to ensure profitability and compliance. You’ll play a key role in procurement, financial reporting, and client negotiations while fostering strong relationships and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
*Administer contractual requirements and manage project records
*Prepare and negotiate applications for payment, variations, and claims
*Produce accurate monthly financial reports (CVR, risk/opportunity registers, forecasts)
*Lead procurement processes, tender analysis, and supplier negotiations
*Manage supplier contracts, payments, and final accounts
*Agree final accounts with clients and maintain cash KPIs
*Support team development and contribute to strategic goals
What We’re Looking For:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying within construction
*Strong knowledge of fit-out, façades, dry walling, or similar packages
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*High attention to detail and contractual competence
*Commercially astute with a solutions-focused mindset
