Sales Support Administrator
About the client
Our client is a leading international distributor of FMCG products from American candy, Vaping products, batteries & a range of other innovative products. Their customer base ranges from vape stores and convenience stores to multinational corporations (including supermarkets) and international distributors. A fast pace business that is innovative & growing at a rate faster than its competitors.
About the Role
A role that focuses supporting the internal sales team, Wholesale Account Manager [WAM], managing the team’s administrative, aftersales and logistical tasks.
*Bespoke pricing control – Ensure customer bespoke pricing catalogues are appropriately always updated for the team.
*Aftersales – Customer queries, Customer returns, and ad-hoc orders.
Key Responsibilities
Bespoke Pricing Control:
*Set and recheck catalogues on the Shopify system for any price increase/decrease on main products. Then adjust any pricing on the customer catalogue after discussing with the appropriate WAM.
*Ensure all customer catalogue pricing lists are tagged with the relevant WAM name.
*Be the Spokesperson between the sales team and the purchasing, marketing, E-Commerce teams, in advance during any promotional period to align all pricing on customer catalogues during this special period. Thereafter, ensure pricing is put back to normal bespoke pricing as the promotion ends.
*Communication between the Promo and sales team in advance or given full information to relevant e-commerce members to understand the catalogues on discounts.
Aftersales – be responsible for:
*Customer queries regarding order/delivery/warehouse issues (partials orders issue). Collaborate with the warehouse to address any reported parcel issues.
*Customer Returns – liaise with customer and assist WAM in getting returns process completed.
*Ad-hoc orders – help WAM with ad-hoc orders when busy. Process sales orders for the team, ensuring accuracy in detail before issuing invoices.
The Ideal Candidate
*Analytical and Good with Numbers: Comfortable working with figures, such as sales data and financials. Must have mininum intermediate level in excel.
*Proactive and Experienced: A proactive individual who is good at identifying and solving problems.
*Organised and Team-Oriented: Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team environment but also on their own initiative, helping to complete the depts tasks when needed.
*Calm Under Pressure: Able to remain composed in a fast-paced sales environment, particularly when facing challenging situations.
*Customer-Focused: A strong focus on customer service, understanding the importance of meeting deadlines, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
*Comfortable working within a fast pace busy environment
