A well-established red meat processing group is looking for Abattoir Operatives to join the team. You’ll be right at the heart of a fast-paced operation that keeps high-quality meat production moving. What you’ll be getting stuck into as an Abattoir Operative
*Carrying out key cutting, trimming and processing tasks within the slaughter hall
*Supporting the full meat production process to maintain workflow
*Working safely and hygienically in a chilled environment
*Maintaining food quality and compliance across all tasks
*Following procedures and codes of practice to meet regulatory standards
*Contributing to team throughput and overall site efficiency
What you’ll bring to the table as an Abattoir Operative
*Previous experience in an abattoir or red-meat processing environment
*Knife handling or cutting/trimming experience
*WATOK CoC licence (any category) advantageous
*Comfortable with physical, fast-paced work in a chilled setting
*Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Working hours: Monday–Friday, start times 07:00–07:30 & finish times 16:00.
