Senior Bookkeeper

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to take ownership of bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The practice offers a close-knit, friendly environment with genuine flexibility and the chance to build long-term client relationships.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for a range of clients.
*Prepare VAT returns and assist with management accounts.
*Liaise with clients to resolve queries promptly.
*Collaborate with payroll and accounts teams to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in a similar-sized accountancy practice.
*Strong bookkeeping skills and familiarity with accounting software.
*Practical experience is highly valued over formal qualifications.
*Excellent attention to detail and client communication skills.
