Job Opportunity: Associate/Senior Associate – Criminal & Regulatory
Location: Glasgow
Overview:
Great opportunity for an experienced Criminal Lawyer to join a growing disputes, regulatory and compliance team. You’ll work across criminal defence, investigations and advisory matters for individual, commercial and public-sector clients.
Role Requirements:
*Advise and represent clients in criminal and regulatory matters, including court work
*Prepare legal arguments, draft advice and manage evidence
*Liaise with regulators and enforcement bodies
*Build ongoing client relationships and support business development
*Work alongside Counsel and Solicitor Advocates (advocacy experience or interest in qualifying is welcome)
Experience:
*Criminal law background with knowledge of Sheriff Court, High Court and Appeal Court procedure
*Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
*Clear written and oral communication skills
*Comfortable analysing complex legal issues and advising under pressure
Skills:
*Detail-focused and organised
*Good communicator with a client-centred approach
*Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
