Role Summary:
Join a dynamic Commercial & Corporate Insurance team focused on driving new business and expanding the firm’s portfolio of corporate clients. This role is ideal for an ambitious insurance and sales professional who wants to broaden their technical knowledge and play a pivotal role in the business development lifecycle - from pipeline management to client onboarding. You’ll be based in Chester with hybrid flexibility (2 days in office), and collaborate across telesales, account handling, and market engagement functions.


Key Responsibilities:
• Drive new business wins: Help the firm grow by securing new corporate client accounts
• Manage the sales pipeline: Ensure smooth processes from lead to onboarding
• Attend client meetings and proposals: Strengthen commercial relationships and close deals
• Prepare documentation and reports: Support compliant, well-presented pitches and records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Identify cross-sale and referral opportunities
• Engage with markets and strategy discussions: Influence how products are positioned


Requirements:
• Commercial insurance experience (min. 2 years)
• Sales experience (min. 2 years)
• Acturis system knowledge essential
• Strong literacy, numeracy, and MS Excel/Word skills
• GCSE Maths & English (A Levels and Cert CII desirable)
• Comfortable travelling for client meetings across the UK
