Job Description:
IFA Administration Team Leader
Location: Crewe Area
Salary is up to £36,000
Our client are a well-established independent financial planning firm seeking an experienced IFAAdministration Team Leader to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong financial planning experience and proven leadership skills to manage and develop a team while supporting the administration of financial plans.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
*Manage and supervise a team of five administrators.
*Chair monthly team meetings and monitor attendance, holidays, and flexi-time.
*Conduct 1:1 meetings, including training and development sessions.
*Carry out file and compliance spot checks.
*Organise training for internal systems and processes.
*Support the implementation of IT and workflow systems.
Administration Support
*Assist advisers in administering financial plans and investment proposals.
*Maintain, set up, and update internal records.
*Process account applications, transfers, and related documentation.
*Service existing portfolios, including policy changes and transfers.
*Manage administration tasks on back-office software systems.
*Prepare documentation for meetings, including review packs and valuations.
*Liaise with providers and third parties as required.
*Handle regulatory documents and ensure compliance with procedures.
*Support team members to deliver efficient administrative service.
*Arrange meetings and manage general correspondence, emails, and telephone communications.
Experience & Skills
*Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a team.
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial planning administration.
*Proven experience using Intelligent Office is essential.
*Excellent communication and telephone skills.
*High attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
*Training will be provided to support your development.
