Description
*Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial equipment and machinery.
*Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
*Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out in line with health and safety regulations.
*Work collaboratively with the engineering team to improve machinery reliability.
*Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any concerns.
*Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
*Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and equipment performance.
*Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
*Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
*Experience working within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
*Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Offer
*£42,600 per annum.
*Monday - Friday Days - 07:30 - 16:00
*1 in 4 weeks on call paid at a premium
