Key Responsibilities
*Lead complex procurement projects and negotiations
*Develop sourcing strategies aligned with environmental and social values
*Use data and analysis to inform planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring
*Identify and implement improvements to procurement processes and systems
*Support and mentor colleagues, stepping into leadership roles when required
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience in public sector procurement, with a strong understanding of frameworks, compliance, and transparency
*CIPS qualification (or equivalent)
*Strong skills in contract management, supplier engagement, and strategic sourcing
*A proactive, analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Confidence using digital tools and procurement systems
