The Role
As a Senior Childcare Solicitor, you will:
*Manage a high-quality caseload of public law matters, including care, supervision, EPO and placement proceedings
*Undertake advocacy at all stages, including contested final hearings
*Represent children on the instruction of guardians, ensuring their voices are heard
*Provide supervision and leadership within the department, supporting junior colleagues
*Drive business development initiatives and strengthen your professional network
About You
*Children Panel Membership is essential
*A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 5+ years’ PQE in childcare law
*Proven experience in care proceedings, advocacy and working with children’s guardians
*Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience aligned with Legal Aid Agency requirements
*An established following, active caseload, or strong referral network
*Exceptional client care and a collaborative approach
