The Role:
We are seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant to join the finance team and play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations. This position involves managing core accounting processes, liaising with internal teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
*Full ownership of the Sales Ledger: raising invoices, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and issuing statements
*Act as the primary contact for internal queries, ensuring clear and timely communication
*Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and assist with balance sheet reconciliations
*Manage general accounting queries from internal and external stakeholders
*Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and period-end processes
*Support ad hoc reporting and contribute to process improvement projects
Skills & Experience:
*Proven experience in a similar accounts/finance role
*Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-focused
*Proficiency in accounting systems (experience with NetSuite is an advantage)
*Strong numerical, analytical, organisational, and communication skills
*Recognised accounting qualification or actively studying towards one
