Are you a sharp, technical Business Analyst with a passion for data, cloud, and problem-solving? We’re looking for someone who can translate complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions.
What you’ll be doing * Collaborating with stakeholders to capture, validate, and translate business and technical requirements.
* Using SQL to analyse datasets, identify trends, validate assumptions, and support data-driven decisions.
* Working with AWS-based data platforms (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue) to support discovery, design and solution shaping.

* Creating clear artefacts: user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data flow diagrams, technical documentation, and impact assessments.
* Supporting delivery teams with backlog refinement, prioritisation, and alignment to business outcomes.
What we’re looking for * Strong experience as a Technical BA in data-driven or cloud-heavy environments.
* Hands-on SQL skills for querying, profiling, and analysing data.
* Practical exposure to AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Glue).
* Experience with data governance, information security, or privacy workflows.
* Knowledge of or direct involvement in Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.
* Background working with Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
* Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Nice to have * Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines or data warehousing concepts.
* Familiarity with data modelling or BI tools.
* Experience working with cross-functional cloud or platform teams.
* Understanding of UK GDPR and broader data protection regulations.
