Job Description:
Machine Maintenance Operative
Salary: £27,000–£30,000
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a well-established lubrication manufacturing company in Sheffield. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Machine Maintenance Operative
to their experienced and supportive team.
This is a hands-on role working across two large machine shops, supporting both the maintenance and production teams to keep equipment running efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out lubrication on a range of machinery
* Perform full oil changes across equipment
* Conduct oil analysis and report on any changes or trends
* Monitor and interpret lubrication results
* Top up oil levels and ensure correct lubricant usage
Ideal Candidate:
* 3–5 years’ experience in lubrication engineering or a similar maintenance-based role
* Strong understanding of lubrication principles, lubricants, and lubrication systems
* Familiarity with lubrication management software and condition monitoring tools
* Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to work independently and in a team
