Our client BAE Systems, a leading entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis, based in Samlesbury. This role is pivotal to the Air Business Unit and requires attendance on site three days per week.
Key Responsibilities: *Working on the F35 project
*Collaborating within a team that includes both permanent and contract staff
*Managing electrical installation tasks, excluding circuits
*Focusing on harnesses and 3D harness work
*Utilising CATIA V5 and Teamcentre software
*Contribution to the checking process in due course
*Supporting ongoing projects with significant workloads
Job Requirements: *BAE-Electrical designer skills
*Experience within the aerospace
*Proficiency in CATIA V5
*Strong understanding of electrical installations and 3D harness work
*Flexibility to work on site in Samlesbury for three days a week
